I am having the same problem with this that I have had with other
formulas. It appears to make an intersection of two spheres with a sphere
punched out of the middle.
This make a good torus in an Isosurface statement, but chops off the
inner curve in media. I tried laying it over a spherical and cylindrical
density and playing with the density in a color_map but all that gave me was
a faded convex edge (see p.b.i.)
Did you have any better results with media?
